We extend our sincere sympathy to Donald Lindquist's family. Donnie passed away in his home on May 15th at the age of 83. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 24th. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Max.

If you or your children are interested in learning karate, stop in at the Max Civic Center on May 23 at 3:30 for a free kid's class or to speak with Shifu Martin about lessons. Classes are always held on Fridays at 3:30 for kids ages 5-13 and at 4:30 for adults ages 14 and up. Your first class is always free. Shifu Martin also needs teenagers to help work with the students and teach classes.

You needed to be signed up by Wednesday, May 21st for swimming lessons at the YMCA in Minot. If you have any questions, phone Lynae Schroeder at 679-2505.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 23 is the Over 55 Club's May potluck at 6:00 at the Senior Center in Max.

This Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 in the school gymnasium the Class of 2008 will graduate!
