Max School Sports information for the week of February 20th – February 25th. Varsity Boys basketball districts start on Friday and Saturday finishing on Monday February 27th in Washburn. On Saturday there will be a West River FFA Judging Event in Beulah.

            Max Community Library will be closed on Monday February 20th for Presidents Day.

            If your child is interested in participating in the spring sports of track or baseball they need to sign up in the office at the school by February 28th.

            On Monday February 20th the food pantry will be open from 1-3 & 5-7 at the new location in the youth center at city hall. The youth center has its own outside door entrance in the front of the building.

            Congratulations to Cheyenne Jacobson for her achievements in basketball and getting selected for all tournament team, all district team, and senior athlete of the year for district 10 at the conclusion of Saturday’s district 10 torment in Garrison.

            Julie McElwain has a sequel to her first novel coming in April. Max Community Library will once again host a book signing that will be held on Saturday April 15th at City Hall in Max starting at 10am. The library has ordered copies of her new novel A Twist in Time that will be available for purchase as the release date gets closer.
