Max News 4/27/17


Max School Sports information for the week of May 1st – May 6th. On Monday, JV Baseball at 4:15 in Lansford, JH Track Meet at 3:30 in Velva. On Tuesday, V Baseball game at 4pm in Garrison, V Track meet at 3:30 in Rugby, JV Baseball makeup game at 4:15 in Max, GEVB game at 4:30 in Max. On Thursday, V track Meet at 3pm in Underwood. On Friday, JV Baseball game at 4:30 in Mandan. On Saturday, V Baseball game.

            Prom for Max High School will beon Saturday April 29th with the grand march starting at 8pm. Elementary Spring Music Concert is Tuesday May 9th in the school gymnasium at 2pm. The JH and High school music concert will be on May 22nd at 7pm. Music Boosters will have a spring wrap-up meeting on May 4th at 5:30. Also on May 4th at 6:30 will be the Activities Banquet in the school gymnasium. 

            There will be a prayer service at St Matthew’s Lutheran Church this Sunday April 30th at 2:30. Come and join the woman from both congregations, Peace and St Matthew’s Lutheran Churches for fellowship, prayer, and a salad luncheon.

            The City of Max will be having community clean up days in May. The land fill will be open on Saturday May 6th, and Saturday May 20th from 9am-5pm. This will be free for residents, the landfill will except items such as appliances, furniture, but no household garbage or plastic bags will be permitted.             Max Community Library’s Summer Reading Program will kick off in June with “Build A Better World.” The library is looking for donations of Legos to use during this program. If you have Legos laying around that you do not know what to do with, please consider donating them to the library.
