Max City Council meeting will be on Tuesday July 6th @ 7:00pm 2021 @ Max City Hall.
There is a exercise group that has started in Max, located at Max City Hall Monday-Thursday at 7:00am. We do a variety of different exercises from pilates, yoga, zumba, and kick boxing. It is an easy going group that allows you to work at your own pace. Free and open to all ages.

The Landfill will be open from 9am-12pm for Fall Free Clean up day for City of Max residence.
The City of Max is thrilled to announce we have been selected to recieve the AARP Community Challenge grant. We are one of only 184 grantees selected from across all 50 states, Washington D.C, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

North Prairie Rural Water is working on a different process at the Water Plant and the City of Max might be experiencing discoloration of their water due to that. I was told by North Prairie Rural Water that the water has been tested and is safe to drink. The issue should be resolved soon. Thank You
The Max Community Library is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm.
Max Community Library will be closed to the public for now. The Board has decided it is acceptable for me to get books together for patrons but not to let patrons browse the shelves. Please feel free to call the library at 679-2263 to request books and I will do my best to get some together for you. There are plenty of online resources available for you to utilize. We have Overdrive available for audio and eBooks. Also, rbdigital from the State Library that includes audio books, eBooks, and magazines. These can be used from your devices after getting the free app from your app store. You will need your Library card number to use these online library resources.
