Max News 5/11/17


Max School Sports information for the week of May 15th – May 20th. On Monday, V Track meet at 3:30 in Velva. On Tuesday, V Track meet at 3:30 in Hazen, JV Baseball game at 4:30 in Garrison. On Thursday, V Baseball Regionals at Corbett Field in Minot time TBD. On Friday, V Track Regionals at Minot High time TBD.

                Kyle’s Greenhouse will be at the Max Senior Center on Saturday, May 20th from 4-7pm. They will have a variety of plants for sale and the Seniors will have refreshments of bars, cookies, and coffee. Everyone is welcome to come see what they have and enjoy some refreshments.

                Congratulations to Megan Kramer for earning her Star for her clarinet solo at the State Music Festival at MSU this past weekend in Minot. 

                The food pantry will be open at the Youth Center in the Civic Center on Main Street in Max on Monday May 22nd from 1-3pm and 5-7 pm. 

                The Max Community Library will have book club on Friday May 19th at 7pm. There will be a discussion on Julie McElwain’s book, A Twist in Time. There are a few signed books still available for purchase at the library. Also, the library is looking for donations of Legos to use during this program. If you have Legos laying around that you do not know what to do with, please consider donating them to the library.
